If chasing silo art is part of your Australian travels, our Silo Art Trail Patch Collection is a fun way to record the incredible places you’ve discovered along the way.

Created especially for Map My Lap, each embroidered patch represents a silo, water tower or public artwork found in a regional Australian town. Add them to your Map My Lap as you travel, collect your favourites, or see if you can eventually tick off the whole collection.

Inspired by the places we visit

Each patch is an original Map My Lap illustration, loosely inspired by the real silo or public artwork found at that location.Rather than creating exact copies of the original artworks, we have taken recognisable elements, colours and features and reimagined them in our own simplified, retro patch style.They are designed as a little reminder of where you’ve been and what you saw along the way, rather than as reproductions of the original artwork.

• Nullawil VIC — approx. 60 × 46 mm. Inspired by Nullawil’s much-loved farmer and kelpie silo artwork.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

• Waikerie SA — approx. 60 × 47 mm
  Inspired by Waikerie’s colourful silo art, with our design featuring the Regent Parrot, river and yabbie elements.
• Karoonda SA — approx. 60 × 59 mm. Our simplified interpretation of Karoonda’s silo artwork, celebrating its rural setting and distinctive imagery.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

• Albany WA — approx. 60 × 46 mm. A colourful Map My Lap interpretation inspired by Albany’s striking silo artwork.

Each patch has an iron-on backing, making it easy to add to your fabric map as your travels unfold.  Collect the towns you’ve already visited, add a new patch after each road trip, or start planning a few detours to find the ones you’re missing.  Because sometimes the best part of travelling Australia is discovering the little towns you weren’t originally planning to visit.
