Meet Cactus Ridge – a bold, earthy design created for those who like a little Western spirit in their adventures.

Designed exclusively by us, Cactus Ridge brings together Western and Aztec-inspired geometric patterns, desert cactus and warm earthy tones of burnt orange, rust, sage, soft grey and black. The reverse features a rich solid burnt orange, giving you a different look when the comforter is turned back.

The colour palette has been intentionally drawn from colours already used throughout our range, allowing Cactus Ridge to coordinate beautifully with existing Ecoluxe pieces and making it easy to mix and match across your setup.

Cactus Ridge is made for the road – earthy, adventurous and a little bit different.

Made from 100% organic cotton, the fabric is beautifully soft, breathable and comfortable for travelling in all seasons. The comforter is filled with 300 GSM cotton, providing cosy warmth without the heavy bulk of traditional bedding – particularly important when space is at a premium in rooftop tents, caravans and campers.

Just like all ZipLuxe sets, this is an all-in-one solution that stays secure, neat, and comfortable – no matter where you pull up for the night. The fitted sheet stays snug on your RTT mattress, while the zipped-on comforter means no more fighting with bedding in confined spaces.  Simply zip and go, making pack-up a breeze after a long day on the tracks.  The zips open and close on both sides, allowing one side to be open and the other to be closed.

Caring for Your ZipLuxe Bed Set

To keep your ZipLuxe Bed Set looking and performing its best, please follow these important care and usage instructions.

Before First Use

Please inspect your ZipLuxe carefully upon receipt and before washing. If you notice a fault, please contact us before washing or using the item, as we are unable to assess some faults once an item has been washed.

Your ZipLuxe may arrive vacuum sealed for transport. Simply unpack it and allow some time for the comforter to naturally regain its loft.

Washing Your ZipLuxe

Always completely unzip and separate the comforter from the fitted sheet before washing.

• Wash in cold water on a gentle or delicate cycle.
• Use a washing machine with enough room for the comforter to move freely.
• For larger sizes, we recommend using a large-capacity or commercial laundromat machine.
• Do not overload the washing machine.
• Dry flat in the shade.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry.

Natural fillings require a little extra care when wet. The filling becomes considerably heavier once saturated, and washing your ZipLuxe while the pieces are still attached can place excessive weight and strain on both the fabric and zipper system.

An overloaded washing machine can also cause heavy, wet bedding to twist, stretch and pull against itself during the wash and spin cycles. Bamboo is beautifully soft, but its natural fibres can be more vulnerable to tearing when subjected to excessive mechanical stress.

Important Information About Your ZipLuxe Zippers

ZipLuxe is different from traditional bedding. The comforter is physically attached to the fitted sheet by a durable zipper system, keeping your bedding securely in place and making difficult-to-access caravan, rooftop tent and bunk beds much easier to make.

Because the comforter is attached to the bed, it is important to remember that it cannot be pulled away in the same way as a traditional loose quilt or doona while it is still zipped in place.

If you are a particularly restless sleeper, frequently kick or pull bedding forcefully during the night, or may forget that the comforter is still attached when getting out of bed, please consider whether zip-attached bedding is suitable for your sleeping style.

Our ZipLuxe zippers are designed for normal everyday use. However, like any zipper, excessive force can damage the zipper teeth. Pulling the comforter strongly away from the mattress while it is still attached can place significant concentrated pressure on the zipper.

When multiple zipper teeth are pulled away together in one section, rather than an individual tooth failing, this type of damage is consistent with excessive force being applied to the zipper and is not considered a manufacturing fault. This can sometimes occur in a section approximately the width of the zipper slider, where the force has been concentrated.

To Help Protect Your Zippers

• Avoid forcefully pulling or kicking the comforter away from the mattress while it is zipped in place.
• Unzip the comforter if you need to pull it significantly away from the bed.
• Take a little extra care when getting out of bed during the night.
• Always completely separate the comforter and fitted sheet before washing.
• Never wash your ZipLuxe with the pieces zipped together.

With normal use and proper care, your ZipLuxe zipper system is designed to provide years of reliable performance.

Zip bedding is different to traditional loose bedding, so we strongly recommend considering your sleeping habits and reading these care instructions before purchasing.

Rooftop Tent Storage & Mould Prevention

If you’re using your ZipLuxe in a rooftop tent (RTT), we do not recommend leaving your bedding inside the tent when it is closed and being stored for extended periods.

Rooftop tents can be particularly susceptible to condensation and trapped moisture. With very little airflow once the tent is closed, this can create an ideal environment for mould and mildew to develop on bedding, mattresses and other fabrics.

Even if your bedding feels dry when you pack up, residual moisture may remain within the tent or mattress.

To help prevent mould:

• Remove bedding from your rooftop tent when it is not being used for extended periods.
• Ensure the RTT, mattress and bedding are completely dry before closing the tent.
• Never pack away damp bedding.
• Regularly open and air out your rooftop tent, particularly after camping in wet, humid or cold conditions.
• Store your ZipLuxe in a clean, dry and well-ventilated area when not in use.

Mould caused by condensation, moisture or storage conditions within a closed rooftop tent is an environmental/storage issue and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
